TUNEABLE DETECTION LIMIT The detection limit is tuneable, and it depends on the sample volume used for testing. For 100 ml test sample, the detection limit is 100 CFU/ml, and for the 20 ml test sample, the detection limit is 500 CFU/ml (or equivalent MPN value)
BROAD DETECTION RANGE: The test detects low levels of most bacteria and fungi and is ideal for detecting the presence of biofilm. CONSISTENT RESULTS: The test is designed to detect intact cells, and produces consistent responses to a specific microbial strain, regardless of its metabolic rate in that environment. The sensitivity of the test will be the same in a both rich and poor nutrient environment, or if a cell is culturable or not.
