The operation of the thermostat is fully automatic. When the knob of the thermostat is turned clockwise to the appropriate position, it will be turned on, the heating indicator will be on, and the thermostat will maintain the temperature you said after a period of run. When the knob of the thermostat is turned counterclockwise to the appropriate position, the heating will stop and the heating indicator will be off.
The thermostat is designed to maintain a standard bath water temperature no more than 40 ° C (104 ° F). However, if there is cold water in the bathtub at start-up, the thermostat will raise the temperature by 6-8 °C/h depending on the initial water temperature, room temperature and the size of the bathtub.
When the thermostat is turned on for the first time and remains on until the water temperature reaches the preset temperature, then it will automatically stop until the temperature drops a few degrees below the preset temperature, and the thermostat will automatically turn on again. As long as the pump is running, the thermostat is cycled intermittently on and off.
The thermostat is equipped with a pressure switch to protect the thermostat from the risk of dry burning due to water shortage in the operating system. If the water pressure drops to 20 kPa (about 2 mHO2) or less while the system is running, the pressure switch will cut off the power. The thermostat works well when the pump in the system is operating normally and the water pressure is maintained above 20 kPa.
