The Pyracantha, also called the Vuurdoorn, is a genus of evergreen shrubs from the rosaceae family. The Fire Maple originally comes from Southeast Europe to Southeast Asia. Fire thorns can reach 4-6 meters in the wild and can have different berry colors, depending on the species.
