Scottish Thistle (Onopordum acanthium). Naturalised. Grey leaved giant. Superb architectural plant with purple flower heads. Said to have been used for treating cricks in the neck. Hardly surprising!
When to Sow: May to early July.
What to do Next: As seedlings grow, either thin out or transplant 5cm apart.Grow on and finally plant out in September or Ocober.
