An attractive and useful vegetable in the kitchen. Bright red leaves and stems full of flavour when eaten as a baby leaf in a salad or mature as a cooked vegetable.
Sow: April to July. Sow direct into the growing site 2cm deep in rows 35-40cm apart. Do not transplant seedlings. As the seedlings appear, gradually thin until plants are 20cm apart. Harvest: 10 weeks from sowing
